AUSTIN, Texas & SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--RSA 2025 -- CrowdStrike (NASDAQ: CRWD) today announced Terra Security as the winner of the second annual Amazon Web Services (AWS) and CrowdStrike Cybersecurity Startup Accelerator, presented in collaboration with the NVIDIA Inception program for startups. Terra Security was recognized for its innovations in agentic AI-powered, continuous web application penetration testing.
The 2025 program drew hundreds of applicants from across the U.S., Israel and Europe. From that pool, 36 early-stage startups were selected to participate in the 8-week, equity-free accelerator – gaining access to expert mentorship, technical guidance, funding resources and go-to-market support. The program is designed to help founders build, launch and scale the next generation of AI and cloud security innovation.
Terra Security was selected from a group of 10 finalists who pitched live at RSA Conference 2025. The winner was announced during a packed event at the Falcon Lounge, where a panel of judges – including George Kurtz, founder and CEO of CrowdStrike; CJ Moses, chief information security officer at Amazon; and David Reber Jr., chief security officer at NVIDIA – evaluated each startup on innovation, market relevance and go-to-market potential. Two runner-ups, Kenzo Security and Rig Security, were also recognized by the judges for their standout approaches to agentic AI-driven security and identity threat protection, respectively.
“We’re honored to be named the winner of the CrowdStrike, AWS and NVIDIA Cybersecurity Startup Accelerator,” said Shahar Peled, co-founder and CEO of Terra Security. “At Terra, we’re reimagining offensive security with a swarm of agentic AI pentesters – ethical hackers that continuously test, adapt, reason and inject business context at every step, all with human oversight. We’re excited to continue working with innovators and leaders who are looking to scale and strengthen their pentesting programs.”
“CrowdStrike pioneered cybersecurity in the cloud with AI at its core,” said Daniel Bernard, chief business officer at CrowdStrike. “We proudly support ecosystem startups building what’s next. Together with AWS and NVIDIA, we’re equipping innovators with the tools and expertise to solve real-world security problems at scale for today and tomorrow. Congratulations to Shahar Peled and the Terra Security team for their impressive agentic AI pentester innovation.”
“It’s exciting to see the AWS and CrowdStrike Cybersecurity Startup Accelerator back for its second year—bigger, bolder and bringing forward some of the sharpest minds in cyber,” said CJ Moses, chief information security officer at Amazon. “The innovation on display from these startups is exactly what the industry needs: bold thinking, real-world impact and solutions that scale. Congratulations to Terra Security on winning this year’s program. Their approach to web application pentesting really impressed me – not just for the tech, but for the clarity of vision behind it. We at AWS are proud to team up with CrowdStrike and NVIDIA to help accelerate the next generation of cyber leaders and shape what comes next.”
